In need of a good laugh? Looking for some open and honest discussions about navigating your twenties and life after college? Or maybe you are searching for a new hobby or self-care method. It’s possible you might just be bored and this is where you ended up.

While you’re here you might find anecdotes about my psycho dog, hilarious family, and straight-up outta pocket work stories. Or you might relate to advice on how to set boundaries and maintain healthy relationships with the people that matter most to you. Maybe you will prefer to read my attempts at poetry and prose. Regardless of how you got here, welcome! While I am still learning how (struggling) to build a website, here you can find my writing.

And as a reminder, this is a shared space so I encourage you to share your stories with me – I am always down to rofl (roll on the floor laughing, learned this one from my mom) or shed a few tears about something that tugs on the heart strings.

My most recent writing can be found below and older posts can be found in the archives tab — happy reading.

  • Trying something new…

Hi friends! I am experimenting with a new platform for my blog called “Stubstack” where I plan on sharing my posts moving forward. Please check out my new blog spot here. As always, thank you for your support and thank you for reading.

  • 11pm rice cake w/ peanut butter

  • If the sun had to file taxes…

If the sun had to file taxes, it would claim me as a dependent. It provides me with an income so much richer than a few dollars. It gives me warmth and comfort, peace and slowness. I think it chooses to hide from me as a way to remind me of its power, its grandeur.…

  • 2025 Ins & Outs

Me when I realize I haven’t shared a blog post in two months…oops. In full transparency, I have been avoiding writing/sharing this post. I guess I have been feeling somewhat discouraged about the interaction my blog gets, and therefore do not always feel very ~compelled~ to share new posts. I am trying to remind myself…

  • Dear sun, where’d you go?

November 3, 2024, was a terrible day for those of us who thrive in the sunshine and crumble during the depths of winter. For some of us (me), day light savings is the bane of our existence. The sun begins to set earlier, and we start to think its 11pm when really, it’s 5:30pm. On…

  • I thought I was allergic to nuts but really, I’m just anxious.

I was first introduced to the gut-brain axis (GBA) during my neuroscience degree at VT. We discussed how the brain and gut both influence each other in numerous way such as release of neurotransmitters and metabolites from the gut acting on the nervous system or how mental health conditions like high stress and anxiety can…
